Check the guild boards in towns like Dahngrest and Nordopolica regularly. Some quests unlock new synthesis recipes or powerful equipment. Completing all of them can be quite challenging but rewarding, often leading to unique titles for your characters.
While Tales of Vesperia utilizes these guild boards for progression, Tales of Graces f later evolved this concept through its Request system at various inns to expand world-building.
