After the events of Chapter 1, Nova will contact you, demanding your first debt payment of 100,000 Gald. To earn this Gald, you'll need to utilize the Job Board, located in various towns (starting with Trigleph). Head to the Job Board and accept any available jobs. Early jobs typically involve defeating specific monsters or collecting certain items. Prioritize jobs that offer good Gald rewards. You may need to complete several jobs to accumulate the required amount. Once you have 100,000 Gald, Nova will call you automatically. Select the option to make a payment. Successfully paying off this first installment will unlock new areas and advance the main story. This cycle of earning Gald and paying debt will be a recurring theme throughout the game.
