Each character has a unique set of Spirit Artes that can be learned and upgraded.

Learning Spirit Artes

Spirit Artes are primarily learned through the Lilium Orb. As characters gain experience and level up, they earn Growth Points (GP). These GP are then spent on the Lilium Orb to unlock new nodes, which can include new Spirit Artes, stat boosts, or passive skills.

Prioritize Learning: Early on, focus on unlocking a diverse set of Spirit Artes for each character. For example, Jude benefits greatly from unlocking his healing artes like First Aid early, while Milla's offensive elemental artes such as Flare Bomb and Grave are essential for crowd control.

Over Limit: Your character must be in Over Limit state. The Over Limit gauge fills as you deal and receive damage, perform linked artes, and exploit enemy weaknesses. Once full, activate Over Limit by pressing the L2 button (default PS3 control).
Chaining Artes: While in Over Limit, perform a Spirit Arte. During the animation of that Spirit Arte, hold down the O button (default PS3 control). If timed correctly, your character will transition into their Mystic Arte.

Important Considerations:

Timing is Key: The window for holding the O button can be tight. Practice in less critical battles to get the timing down for each character's Spirit Artes.
