Welcome to Falkewin Hillside, a scenic yet challenging area that serves as your next step on the Path of the Shepherd. This region is known for its diverse terrain and the presence of various Hellions. Prepare for some exploration and combat as you navigate its winding paths.

Exploration and Item Collection

Upon entering Falkewin Hillside, your primary goal is to traverse the area while collecting valuable items and engaging with the local flora and fauna. Keep a keen eye out for hidden treasures and resource points.

Initial Path: From the entrance, follow the main path leading generally north. You'll encounter several enemy groups along the way.
Hidden Chest (Southwest): As you progress, look for a small alcove or deviation to the southwest of the main path. Here, you can find a chest containing a Life Bottle. These are crucial for reviving fallen allies in battle, so stock up!
Resource Point (Central Area): In the more open central part of the hillside, you'll spot a sparkling resource point. Interact with it to obtain some Chamomile, a valuable herb for crafting and stat boosting.
Northern Ridge Chest: Head towards the northern ridge of the hillside. There's another chest tucked away near some large rocks, holding a Verbena.

Combat Encounters and Strategies

Falkewin Hillside is home to several Hellions. Be prepared for encounters with:

Goblins: These common enemies are relatively weak but can overwhelm you in numbers. Focus on area-of-effect (AoE) Artes if you're facing multiple Goblins.
Dire Wolves: Faster and more aggressive than Goblins, Dire Wolves can inflict status effects. Prioritize taking them down quickly with strong single-target Artes.
Stone Golems: These larger, more resilient enemies have high defense. use Artes that deal elemental damage (especially Earth-based if you have them, or Fire/Water if not) and focus on breaking their guard.

General Combat Tips:

Armatization: Don't hesitate to use Armatization with your Seraphim partners when facing tougher groups or mini-bosses. This significantly boosts your power and provides access to powerful Armatized Artes.
Elemental Weaknesses: Pay attention to enemy elemental weaknesses. Mikleo's water-based Artes are often effective against fire-aligned enemies, while Lailah's fire Artes can exploit weaknesses in earth-aligned foes.
Blast Gauge: Manage your Blast Gauge effectively. Use it for quick evasions, powerful Mystic Artes, or to extend combos.

Exiting Falkewin Hillside

Once you've thoroughly explored the area and collected all the items, your objective is to proceed to the next region. The exit from Falkewin Hillside is located on the northeastern side, leading towards the next destination in your journey.

Follow the Main Path North-East: Continue along the most prominent path that veers towards the northeast.
Final Check: Before exiting, ensure you've picked up the Verbena from the northern ridge and the Life Bottle from the southwest. These early game consumables are incredibly useful.
