Leatherhead is a powerful brawler with dangerous close-range attacks:

Leatherhead
  • Tail Whip: A wide-arc swing with his tail, covering a large area behind him.
  • Biting Lunge: He lunges forward with a powerful bite.
  • Grab & Slam: If he grabs you, he'll repeatedly slam you into the ground. Mash buttons to escape.

Strategy: Leatherhead requires careful positioning. His tail whip is his most common attack; stay in front of him or jump over it. His biting lunge is fast, so a quick dodge roll is necessary. The grab is his most dangerous move; avoid it at all costs. After he completes a tail whip or a lunge, he'll have a brief recovery period – this is your chance to attack. Jump attacks are particularly effective as they can hit him from above, avoiding some of his ground-based attacks. Save your special attacks for when he's recovering or when you've successfully dodged a major attack. In co-op, try to flank him, with one player distracting him while others attack his exposed sides or back. Don't get caught in a corner with him.
