The final boss, Shredder, is a multi-phase battle that will test all your skills. He has several forms:
- Phase 1 (Standard Shredder): Shredder uses his signature gauntlet blades for quick, powerful combos, a dash attack, and shuriken throws.
- Phase 2 (Super Shredder): After taking enough damage, Shredder transforms, gaining increased speed, damage, and new elemental attacks (fire, ice, lightning). He'll also use a devastating screen-wide attack.
- Phase 3 (Mega Shredder): In his final form, Shredder becomes a giant, stationary threat, attacking with massive energy blasts, ground slams, and summoning powerful Foot Soldiers.
Strategy:
Phase 1: Shredder is fast. Focus on dodging his combos and dash attacks. Counter-attack after he finishes a combo or throws shurikens. Don't get greedy; land a few hits and be ready to dodge. Use special attacks to break his guard or deal burst damage.
Phase 2: Super Shredder is much more aggressive. His elemental attacks are telegraphed by visual cues (e.g., ground glowing red for fire). Dodge these precisely. His screen-wide attack requires a well-timed jump or dodge. This phase is about survival and finding small openings. Use your Super Attacks when he's vulnerable after a major attack.
Phase 3: Mega Shredder is a spectacle. You'll need to destroy his arms first, then attack his head. Avoid his massive energy blasts and ground slams. He'll summon elite Foot Soldiers; clear them quickly to focus on Shredder. This phase is more about managing adds and dodging large-scale attacks while chipping away at his health. Coordinate with teammates to focus fire on his weak points. This is the ultimate test of your skills!
