Tokka & Rahzar
Prepare for a tag-team challenge against Shredder's mutated henchmen, Tokka and Rahzar! This fight requires careful positioning and understanding of each boss's attack patterns. You'll face them in a relatively open arena, which is crucial for dodging their powerful strikes.
Phase 1: Dealing with Tokka
Tokka, the mutated snapping turtle, is the more aggressive of the two, often charging directly at you. His attacks are slow but hit hard, so focus on evasion.
- Tokka's Charge: Tokka will often wind up and charge across the screen. This is your primary opening. Dodge out of the way using a quick dash or jump.
- Shell Spin: Occasionally, Tokka will retreat into his shell and spin, becoming invulnerable for a short period and damaging anything in his path. Keep your distance during this move.
- Attack Strategy:
- When Tokka charges, dodge to the side.
- Immediately after he finishes his charge, he'll be briefly stunned. This is your window to unleash a quick combo.
- Focus on hit-and-run tactics. Get a few hits in and then prepare to dodge his next attack.
- use your special attacks when Tokka is vulnerable for maximum damage.
Phase 2: Rahzar's Introduction
Once Tokka has taken a significant amount of damage (approximately 50% of his health), Rahzar, the mutated wolf, will join the fray. This is where the fight becomes more complex, as you'll need to manage both bosses simultaneously.
- Rahzar's Attacks: Rahzar is faster and more agile than Tokka, often performing quick claw swipes and jumping attacks. He can also throw objects if there are any available in the environment.
- Combined Strategy:
- Prioritize Tokka: While Rahzar is a threat, Tokka is still the slower and easier target to damage consistently. Try to finish him off first if possible.
- Keep Them Separated: Use the arena to your advantage. Try to bait one boss to one side while you attack the other.
- Group Attacks: If both bosses are close together, a well-timed special attack or super move can hit both, providing valuable crowd control and damage.
- Environmental Awareness: Keep an eye out for any throwable items (like Foot Clan crates or discarded weapons) that might appear. These can stun one of the bosses, giving you a crucial opening.
- Defensive Play: Don't be afraid to block or dodge frequently. Getting caught between both bosses can lead to rapid health depletion.
Phase 3: Finishing Rahzar
Once Tokka is defeated, the fight becomes a more manageable one-on-one against Rahzar. His attack patterns remain the same, but without Tokka's disruptive charges, you can be more aggressive.
- Rahzar's Vulnerabilities: Rahzar is susceptible to air combos and throws. Launch him into the air and follow up with a juggle, or grab him and throw him into the arena walls for extra damage.
- Maintain Pressure: Don't let Rahzar recover. Keep up a steady stream of attacks, but always be ready to dodge his quick claw swipes.
- use Remaining Resources: If you have any pizza items or special attack charges left, now is the time to use them to quickly finish off Rahzar.
