The Tempest Colossus is a massive, slow-moving Tempest Dynasty super-unit encountered in the late GDF campaign. It boasts immense health, heavy armor, and a devastating Tempest Beam attack that can obliterate entire formations. Its primary weakness is its slow movement speed and vulnerability to concentrated air attacks and long-range artillery.

Strategy:

  1. Air Superiority: Prioritize building multiple Falcon Fighters and Osprey Gunships. Falcons will protect your Ospreys from enemy air, while Ospreys deal significant damage to the Colossus.
  2. Artillery Support: Deploy several Kodiak Artillery units at maximum range. Their sustained bombardment will chip away at the Colossus's health.
  3. Distraction & Flanking: Use cheap units like Scorpion Buggies or even Riflemen to draw its Tempest Beam, allowing your main damage dealers to operate safely. Flank with Titan Tanks to hit its less armored rear.
  4. Repair & Replenish: Keep Engineers with your tanks for repairs. Be prepared to quickly replace lost air units.

Weaknesses:

  • Slow movement speed.
  • Vulnerable to concentrated air attacks.
  • Less armor on its rear.

Rewards:

Destruction of the Colossus often unlocks a powerful GDF superweapon or a significant resource bonus for the final missions.
