Targeting: Attackers and Badges

Utilize 'Attackers' and 'Badges' targeting in mid-game Tetris 99 to defend against threats and eliminate strong opponents.

With fewer players remaining, the 'Attackers' targeting option becomes incredibly powerful. This setting automatically targets players who are currently sending garbage to you. By targeting your attackers, you create a defensive feedback loop: when they send you garbage, you send it right back, often with increased power due to your accumulated Badges. This can deter players from focusing on you and force them to deal with their own incoming garbage. Alternatively, if you have a good number of Badges (3-5+), consider switching to 'Badges' targeting. This targets players with the most Badges, allowing you to focus your attacks on the strongest opponents and potentially eliminate them, thereby reducing the overall threat level. However, be cautious when using 'Badges' targeting, as these players are often skilled and can retaliate effectively. Always be ready to switch back to 'Attackers' if you find yourself overwhelmed by incoming garbage. The key is to be dynamic with your targeting, adapting to the flow of the battle and the threats you face.
