During the early game, your targeting strategy should be focused on accumulating Badges without taking excessive risks. The 'K.O.s' targeting option is excellent here, as it automatically targets players who are close to being eliminated. This allows you to contribute to their K.O. and earn a Badge, which significantly boosts your attack power. Alternatively, 'Random' targeting is a safe default if you're not confident in your ability to quickly identify vulnerable opponents. Random targeting spreads your attacks across various players, making you less of a direct threat to any single individual, which can help you avoid being targeted back by multiple players early on. Avoid 'Attackers' targeting unless you are being heavily targeted yourself, as it can draw unnecessary attention. The goal is to get 2-4 Badges in this phase to prepare for the mid-game. Remember, each Badge increases the garbage you send by 25%, so even a couple of Badges can make a noticeable difference in your offensive capabilities. Keep an eye on the mini-screens for players whose fields are turning red, as these are prime targets for K.O.s.
