Connecting Online

The game automatically attempts to connect to its online services upon launch. If you encounter issues, check your console or PC's network settings.

Multiplayer Modes

Connected Co-op

- You can either Matchmake with random players or create a Private Match to invite friends.

- Zone Meter Management: Coordinate with your teammates on when to activate your Zone abilities. Activating them simultaneously during critical moments can lead to massive line clears and damage to the boss.

- Participating in the Ritual:
- Look for the Weekend Ritual banner on the Main Menu or within the Multiplayer section.
- Click on the banner to see the current weekend's objective (e.g., "Clear 1,000,000 lines in Connected Co-op").
- Play the designated mode(s) as much as you can throughout the weekend. Your progress automatically contributes to the global total.
- Rewards:
- If the community goal is met, all participating players receive a reward, often a unique avatar or a special in-game effect.
- Rewards are typically distributed automatically to your account after the event concludes.
Player Profile & Customization
Your player profile is your identity within the Tetris Effect: Connected community. You can customize various aspects to make it unique.
- Accessing Your Profile:
- From the Main Menu, select Options or look for a Profile icon (often represented by a silhouette).
- Navigate to the Player Profile section.
- Customization Options:
- Avatar: Choose from a wide selection of unlockable avatars to represent yourself. New avatars are often unlocked by achieving certain milestones or participating in events.
- Banner: Select a background banner for your profile, also unlockable through gameplay.
- Player Tag: Your in-game name, usually pulled from your platform's username.
