While specific bosses may vary depending on the mission variant, a common threat within the Tidal Basin is the presence of heavily armored Black Tusk units, often led by a formidable commander. These encounters typically involve waves of enemies supported by heavy units equipped with LMGs and rocket launchers, making cover and situational awareness paramount. Agents should expect to face units utilizing advanced tactics, including flanking maneuvers and the deployment of defensive measures like riot shields.
When confronting the primary boss, focus on identifying weak points. Many Black Tusk commanders have exposed armor plates or critical components that, when targeted, can sificantly reduce their defensive capabilities and stagger them. Skills such as the Shock Trap or the EMP Sticky Bomb can be invaluable for disabling enemy electronics, including drones and automated turrets, which often accompany boss units.
