Upon awakening in your cell, you'll receive a spectral message from Ria Silmane. She will inform you that a key is needed to escape your immediate cell. Search the immediate vicinity of your cell. Often, the key can be found on a nearby corpse or hidden in a small alcove. Once you have the key, use it to unlock your cell door. Be prepared for your first encounters with dungeon creatures, typically rats or goblins. Practice your combat mechanics and try to conserve health and magic. Remember to loot everything; even small amounts of gold and basic equipment are valuable at this stage.
