The material a weapon is made from significantly impacts its effectiveness. From weakest to strongest, common materials include Iron, Steel, Silver, Elven, Dwarven, Mithril, Adamantium, Ebony, and Daedric. Daedric weapons are the most powerful and can harm creatures immune to lesser materials. Silver weapons are particularly effective against undead and lycanthropes. Always try to equip the best material weapon you can find for your chosen weapon skill. Enchanted weapons often provide additional damage, spell effects, or stat bonuses.
