Liches and Ancient Liches are among the most dangerous undead spellcasters in Daggerfall. They possess powerful destructive magic, can paralyze you, and are highly resistant to physical damage from non-magical weapons. Their primary weakness is often silver or enchanted weapons, and they are vulnerable to certain elemental spells like fire. When facing a lich, prioritize disrupting their spellcasting. Silence spells or items that absorb magicka can be incredibly effective. If you're a warrior, ensure your weapon is enchanted or made of silver/Daedric material. Mages should use powerful offensive spells and defensive buffs. Always carry potions of healing and free action (to cure paralysis). Try to engage them in open areas to avoid being cornered by their area-of-effect spells. They often guard valuable treasures.
