Enchanted items in Morrowind fall into several categories, each with its own purpose. Weapons can be enchanted to deal additional damage of a specific type (e.g., fire, frost, shock), drain health or magicka from enemies, or even cast spells upon striking. A Daedric katana enchanted with fire damage, for instance, can be devastating against creatures vulnerable to flame. Armor pieces, including helmets, cuirasses, pauldrons, gauntlets, greaves, and boots, can offer a wide array of defensive and utility enchantments. These might include fortifying attributes like Strength or Endurance, increasing resistances to various damage types, providing constant regeneration of health or magicka, or even granting effects like invisibility or chameleon.
