To craft a potion, you need to combine two or three ingredients that share at least one alchemical effect. For example, combining a Blue Mountain Flower (Damage Health, Fortify Magicka) with a Morning Glory (Damage Magicka, Damage Health) will create a potion that damages both Health and Magicka. The strength and duration of the potion depend on your Alchemy skill level and the quality of the ingredients used.

Collecting ingredients can be done by harvesting plants found in the wild, purchasing them from alchemists, or looting them from defeated enemies. The Alchemy skill itself can be leveled up by successfully crafting potions, making it a self-sustaining skill tree.
