Cyrodiil is a vast and diverse province, filled with numerous cities, towns, villages, dungeons, and points of interest. This Location Index serves as a comprehensive reference, detailing key areas and their sificance, helping players navigate the world, find quest objectives, and discover hidden treasures. Knowing where to go is half the battle.

The province is divided into nine distinct regions, each with its own climate, architecture, and inhabitants. From the snowy peaks of Skyrim's border to the lush forests of the Nibenay Valley, exploration is a core element of Oblivion. Understanding the geography can help you plan your journeys and anticipate the types of enemies and resources you might encounter.

Major Cities: These are the largest settlements, serving as hubs for trade, quests, and guild activities. Each major city has unique landmarks, shops, and NPCs.

  • Imperial City: The capital of the Empire, a sprawling metropolis with distinct districts (Market, Arena, Temple, Waterfront, Elven Gardens, Talos Plaza, Arboretum, Prison District).
  • Bravil: A port city known for its canals and somewhat seedy reputation.
