Draugr Deathlords are powerful undead warriors often found guarding Word Walls or important artifacts in Nordic ruins. They are equipped with high-tier weapons (often Ebony) and can use the 'Unrelenting Force' Shout, making them a significant threat, especially at lower levels.
Weaknesses:
- Fire Damage: Like most undead, they are vulnerable to fire.
- Turn Undead Spells: Can cause them to flee, giving you time to regroup.
- Poison: Can be effective, especially lingering damage health poisons.
Strategy:
- Ranged Combat: If possible, engage from a distance with bows or destruction spells. Their 'Unrelenting Force' Shout can knock you down, leaving you vulnerable.
- Melee Combat: If fighting in melee, use power attacks and block their heavy swings. Be prepared to use healing potions.
- Shouts: Use your own 'Unrelenting Force' to stagger them, or 'Slow Time' to gain an advantage.
- Companions: A tanky companion can draw their attention, allowing you to attack from the flanks.
- Environment: Use pillars or corners for cover to avoid their Shouts.
Rewards:
Often drop high-tier weapons and armor, valuable gems, and sometimes enchanted items. They also carry a 'Draugr Scourge' or 'Draugr Wight' item, which can be sold.
