Animal Allegiance Shout
The Animal Allegiance Dragon Shout is a powerful tool that allows the Dragonborn to command the beasts of Skyrim to fight alongside them. This shout is particularly useful for crowd control, turning the tide of battle against overwhelming odds, or for bypassing dangerous wildlife encounters. Learning and mastering this shout can sificantly alter your approach to combat and exploration in the vast world of Skyrim.
To acquire the Animal Allegiance shout, you must first find its Word Wall. This particular Word Wall is located within the ruins of Benkongerike, a Nordic ruin situated in the mountainous region north of Windhelm. The journey to Benkongerike can be perilous, often involving encounters with powerful Draugr and other hostile creatures. Be prepared for a challenging dungeon crawl before you can claim the power of this shout.
Upon reaching the Word Wall within Benkongerike, you will learn one of the three words of power for Animal Allegiance: 'Raan'. The other two words, 'Mir' and 'Sule', are found in separate locations. 'Mir' can be learned from the Word Wall in Ustengrav, a large Nordic dungeon located in the tundra west of the College of Winterhold. 'Sule' is found within the Word Wall in Labyrinthian, a sprawling and dangerous dungeon that plays a sificant role in the College of Winterhold questline.
Once all three words are learned, you will need to use a Dragon Soul to unlock the full power of the Animal Allegiance shout. The shout's effect is to temporarily pacify and then command all nearby animals to fight for you. This can include wolves, bears, sabre cats, and even giants, making it an incredibly versatile ability. Consider using it strategically when facing multiple enemies or when you need an unexpected ally.
