When combined with powerful weapons, Elemental Fury can lead to devastating damage output.
The Elemental Fury shout has three words of power:
- Shey (Speed)
- Nah (Enraged)
- Qo (Quickly)
When fully learned, the shout dramatically increases the attack speed of your melee weapons. The first word, Shey, grants a moderate increase in speed. The second word, Nah, further enhances the speed boost. The full shout, Qo, provides the maximum increase in attack speed, making your weapon strikes incredibly rapid.
To acquire the words of Elemental Fury, you must visit specific Dragon Wall locations:
- Shey (Speed): This word can be found in Ancient's Ascent. This is a dragon lair located in the mountains east of Windhelm. Be prepared to face a dragon upon arrival.
- Nah (Enraged): This word is located within Duskgrove Marsh. This is a Nordic ruin situated to the southwest of Falkreath. The ruin is typically inhabited by draugr and other undead creatures.
- Qo (Quickly): The final word is found in Mount Anthor. This is another dragon lair, located in the mountains between Whiterun and Windhelm. Expect to encounter a dragon guarding this location.
Once you have learned all three words, you will need to spend Dragon Souls to unlock the full power of the shout. Each word requires one Dragon Soul to activate. The effectiveness of Elemental Fury is amplified with each word unlocked, making it a top-tier shout for melee combatants.
Important Note: Elemental Fury's effectiveness is tied to the speed of your weapon. It works best with unenchanted weapons. If you are using a weapon with an enchantment, the shout will have no effect. This is a known quirk of the shout and something to consider when planning your combat strategy.
Combat Strategy with Elemental Fury:
- Equip your fastest unenchanted melee weapon (e.g., a dagger or sword).
- Activate Elemental Fury just before engaging in melee combat.
