Storm Call Dragon Shout
The Storm Call Dragon Shout is a formidable power that allows the Dragonborn to summon a powerful storm, complete with thunder and lightning, to wreak havoc upon their enemies. This Shout is particularly effective against groups of foes or when facing powerful single targets, as the lightning strikes can deal sificant damage and stagger opponents. Mastering Storm Call can turn the tide of even the most desperate battles.
To learn the Storm Call Shout, you must find its three Word Walls. The first word, 'Strun', can be found at the summit of the High Hrothgar mountain, a sacred place for the Greybeards. The second word, 'Bah', is located within the ruins of Forelhost, a dragon burial site perched high in the mountains of the Rift. The final word, 'Qo', is hidden within the depths of the Stormcloak Camp near the city of Windhelm, a location often contested during the Civil War.
Each Word Wall requires a Dragon Soul to unlock its power. Once all three words are learned, you can unleash the full fury of the Storm Call. When activated, the sky darkens, and bolts of lightning begin to strike randomly around the caster, dealing shock damage to anyone caught in their path. The storm persists for a considerable duration, providing continuous offensive pressure.
Word Wall Locations:
- Strun (Storm): High Hrothgar
- Bah (Call): Forelhost
- Qo (Lightning): Stormcloak Camp (near Windhelm)
The Storm Call Shout is most effective in open areas where the lightning has ample room to strike. It can be used defensively to create space or offensively to soften up enemies before engaging them directly. Be mindful of friendly fire, as the lightning can strike allies as well as enemies. Consider using this Shout when facing large groups of bandits, Forsworn, or even dragons, as the constant barrage of lightning can quickly overwhelm them.
Some players find that the Storm Call Shout is particularly useful during large-scale battles, such as those that occur during the Civil War questline. The visual spectacle of the storm, combined with its destructive power, makes it a truly impactful Shout to wield.
