Throw Voice Dragon Shout

The Throw Voice Dragon Shout is a unique and tactical tool for any Dragonborn, allowing you to project your voice to create a distracting sound in a target location. This can be used to lure enemies away from their posts, create openings for stealth attacks, or simply to cause confusion and chaos on the battlefield. Its strategic applications make it invaluable for stealthy characters and tacticians alike.

To acquire the Throw Voice Dragon Shout, you must find its three Word Walls. The first word, 'Zul', is located within the ancient Nordic ruin of Ustengrav, a place often associated with the quest 'The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller'. The second word, 'Mey', can be found within the depths of the Shrouded Camp, a hidden location used by the Dark Brotherhood. The final word, 'Gar', is hidden within the treacherous depths of the Volskygge tomb, a challenging dungeon filled with draugr and traps.

Each Word Wall requires a Dragon Soul to unlock its power. Once all three words are learned, you can unleash the full potential of the Throw Voice Shout. When activated, a spectral voice will emanate from the target location, drawing the attention of nearby enemies. This allows you to reposition yourself or set up an ambush.

Word Wall Locations:

  • Zul (Voice): Ustengrav
  • Mey (Throw): Shrouded Camp (Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary)
  • Gar (Anyone): Volskygge

The Throw Voice Shout is particularly effective for stealth builds. You can use it to draw guards away from their patrols, allowing you to sneak past them or assassinate them undetected. It can also be used to lure enemies into traps or ambushes. For example, you could throw your voice behind a group of enemies and then attack them from the front while they are distracted.

Even for non-stealth characters, Throw Voice can be a useful utility. It can be used to pull a single enemy away from a larger group, making it easier to engage them one-on-one. It can also be used to distract enemies during a boss fight, giving you a brief window to heal or unleash a powerful attack. Mastering the timing and placement of this Shout can sificantly enhance your combat effectiveness and tactical options.
