Getting Started: Your First Steps in Hyrule
Your adventure begins in Link's cozy home in Kakariko Village. After a rude awakening from Gulley, your first objective is to report to Captain at Hyrule Castle. Here’s how to get there and what to do:
- Wake Up and Get Dressed: After Gulley leaves, head downstairs. Your mother will give you the Hero's Tunic and Cap. Equip them immediately!
- Speak with Your Mother: She'll provide you with some basic advice and send you on your way.
- Exit Link's House: Step outside into the familiar surroundings of Kakariko Village.
- Head East to Hyrule Castle:
- Follow the path directly east out of Kakariko Village.
- You'll pass through a small wooded area and then reach the open fields leading to Hyrule Castle Town.
- Proceed through the main gate of Hyrule Castle Town.
- Enter Hyrule Castle:
- Once in the town, head north towards the grand entrance of Hyrule Castle.
- Speak with the guards at the entrance, and they will grant you passage.
- Inside the castle, navigate the corridors until you find the Captain's quarters.
- Meet the Captain: A brief cutscene will introduce you to the Captain and set the stage for the unfolding mystery. Pay close attention to his instructions regarding the Sanctuary.
