The Skull Woods in Lorule is a sprawling, outdoor dungeon located in the equivalent of the Lost Woods. This dungeon is characterized by its dark, eerie atmosphere and the need to navigate between the overworld and underground sections. The Lamp is essential here to light up dark areas and reveal hidden paths. You'll also need the Hookshot for crossing gaps and the Bow for distant enemies.
The Skull Woods is less of a traditional dungeon and more of a labyrinthine forest with multiple entrances to underground sections. You'll frequently pop in and out of the ground, using your merge ability to traverse walls and find new openings. The dungeon is home to many Stalfos and other undead enemies. Pay close attention to the map and look for subtle clues in the environment, such as skull-shaped entrances or glowing eyes, which often indicate a path forward. The goal is to find the various pieces of a key or activate switches that open the path to the boss.
