Talus are rock-like elemental creatures. Their weak point is the ore deposit on their back or head. To defeat them, you need to climb onto their body. Use bombs to break their rock arms if they get in the way. When they fall, climb onto their back and attack the ore deposit with a strong weapon, preferably a hammer-type weapon for extra damage. If it's a Frost Talus, use fire arrows or a Flameblade to melt its ice. If it's an Igneo Talus, use ice arrows or a Frostspear to cool it down before climbing. Stay clear of their ground slams.
