Bows are essential for ranged combat, hunting, and solving puzzles. Like melee weapons, bows have durability. Arrows are consumed upon use, so stock up. There are several types of arrows:
- Normal Arrows: Standard projectile.
- Fire Arrows: Ignite enemies and objects, melt ice.
- Ice Arrows: Freeze enemies and water, extinguish fires.
- Shock Arrows: Electrocute enemies, activate electrical mechanisms.
- Bomb Arrows: Explode on impact, destroy rocks, deal massive damage.
- Ancient Arrows: Instantly defeat non-boss Guardians (if hit in the eye) and deal massive damage to other enemies.
Good bows include the Royal Bow, Phrenic Bow (for zoom), and Savage Lynel Bow (multi-shot). Always aim for headshots for critical damage.
