Unveiling Ex Champion Urbosa's Song
Ex Champion Urbosa's Song is the final DLC questline in The Champions' Ballad, centering on the Gerudo Champion, Urbosa. This quest involves a journey through the Gerudo Desert, facing new challenges and shrines that test Link's combat abilities and strategic thinking, culminating in a difficult encounter with Thunderblight Ganon.
To commence Ex Champion Urbosa's Song, you must have completed the main story of The Champions' Ballad and spoken with the Champions' spirits at the Shrine of Resurrection. The quest begins in the Gerudo Desert, where you'll need to find the starting point for Urbosa's trials. This will lead you to three new shrines, each desed to challenge your mastery of combat and your ability to adapt to Urbosa's fierce fighting style.
Shrines and Challenges:
- Keive Tala Shrine: This shrine often features combat trials that mimic Urbosa's aggressive style, requiring precise dodging, parrying, and counter-attacks.
- Takama Shiri Shrine: Expect challenges that test your ability to manage multiple enemies or overcome powerful foes using strategic use of your weapons and abilities.
- Kihiro Moh Shrine: This shrine might involve complex combat scenarios where you need to utilize the environment or specific weapon types to succeed.
Illusory Realm: Thunderblight Ganon:
The pinnacle of Ex Champion Urbosa's Song is the Illusory Realm, where you will confront an intensified version of Thunderblight Ganon. This boss battle is notoriously difficult and demands perfect execution of combat mechanics. Utilize Urbosa's Fury (once acquired) strategically, master your flurry rushes and parries, and exploit any openings to overcome its relentless assaults. Successfully defeating Thunderblight Ganon will restore Urbosa's memory and grant you the fully powered Scimitar of the Seven.
Rewards:
Upon completing all the shrines and the final boss battle, you will receive the fully powered Scimitar of the Seven, a formidable one-handed sword. Additionally, you'll unlock new cutscenes that provide deeper insights into Urbosa's character, her wisdom, and her bond with Link and Zelda, enriching the narrative of Breath of the Wild.
