Scanning compatible Amiibo figures (via the 'Amiibo' Rune on your Sheikah Slate) can grant you various rewards once per day. Different Amiibo provide different drops:
- Zelda Series Amiibo: Often drop rare materials, weapons, or even unique armor sets (e.g., Wolf Link, various Link outfits from past games).
- Other Nintendo Amiibo: Typically drop basic materials, food, or rupees.
The Wolf Link Amiibo (from Twilight Princess HD) allows Wolf Link to appear as a companion, helping you in combat and hunting. He has a set number of hearts based on your save data from Twilight Princess HD.
