Shield Surfing
Jump (X) and then press ZL + A while in the air to land on your shield and slide down slopes. This is a fast way to travel downhill but consumes shield durability. Different shields have different surfing speeds and durability.
Windbombing (Bullet Time Bounce)
An advanced technique involving dropping a spherical bomb, then a cube bomb, and detonating them in quick succession to launch Link across vast distances. This requires precise timing and practice but can significantly speed up travel.
Climbing in Rain
Climbing is almost impossible in the rain. Either wait it out, find an overhang, or use Revali's Gale. You can also use specific elixirs or armor (Climbing Set) to slightly improve grip, but it's still very difficult.
Horse Whistling
Even if your horse is far away, whistling (L button) will make it appear if it's within a certain range and on the same side of a loading zone. This is useful for quickly getting your horse to your location.
