How to Beat Desert Colossus: Gerudo Desert

The Desert Colossus is a massive, sand-dwelling creature that guards the Gerudo Desert Rift. Its attacks often involve summoning sandstorms, burrowing underground, and launching large projectiles. During its first phase, focus on avoiding its wide-area attacks. Its weakness is typically its exposed core or a specific part of its body that becomes vulnerable after it performs a powerful attack. Use Echoes of heavy objects, like large rocks or even other desert creatures, to stun it when it emerges from the sand. The Reverse Bond ability might be useful for grappling onto its body to reach weak points. In its second phase, it may become faster or summon smaller sand creatures to assist it. Consider using a heat-resistant outfit for this battle. Defeating it grants a Heart Container and further progression.
