After completing Tail Cave, your next destination is Bottle Grotto. Before heading there, you'll want to explore the areas around Mabe Village and the Mysterious Forest further. This chapter introduces the Seashell Mansion, a key location for collecting Secret Seashells, and prepares you for the challenges of the second dungeon. You'll also encounter new enemies and puzzles.
Much like the Gasha Seeds in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, the Secret Seashells found at this mansion provide incremental rewards for diligent exploration.
While Link's Awakening utilizes secret seashells to reward exploration, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess employs a similar collection mechanic through Agitha’s hidden golden bugs.
