- Hyrule Field (Hidden Grotto): In the center of Hyrule Field, south of the market, find a lone tree. Bomb at its base to reveal a grotto. Play the Song of Storms inside to reveal a chest with a Piece of Heart.
- Hyrule Castle Town Market (Bombchu Bowling): As Young Link, play the Bombchu Bowling mini-game. Win the Piece of Heart as a prize.
- Hyrule Castle Town Market (Dog Lady): As Young Link, at night, find the white dog near the Bazaar. Follow it to the Dog Lady's house. Return the dog to her to receive a Piece of Heart.
- Lon Lon Ranch (Cucco Game): As Young Link, play Malon's "Super Cucco-Finding Game" and finish in under 50 seconds to win a Piece of Heart.

- Kakariko Village (Graveyard - Sun's Song Grave): As Young Link, pull the grave marked with flowers (second from entrance, right side) to reveal a hole. Fall in and play the Sun's Song to defeat the ReDeads. Open the chest for a Piece of Heart.
- Kakariko Village (Death Mountain Trail Entrance): As Adult Link, climb the watchtower near the Death Mountain Trail entrance. Use the Hookshot on the House of Skulltula's roof, then jump to the Kakariko Village entrance fence and walk along it to find a Piece of Heart.
D. Goron City & Death Mountain
- Goron City (Darunia's Room): As Young Link, light all torches in Goron City. Roll a Bomb into the spinning urn in the center. When it stops, a Piece of Heart will appear.

- Zora's River (Frogs 1): As Adult Link, stand on the log with five frogs in Zora's River. Play the Song of Storms, Saria's Song, Sun's Song, Epona's Song, and Zelda's Lullaby in order.
- Zora's River (Frogs 2): After earning the first frog Piece of Heart, play the Song of Storms again to receive another.
- Zora's River (Waterfall Grotto): As Young Link, stand on a platform near the Zora's River waterfall. Play the Song of Storms to reveal a grotto. Defeat the Business Scrub inside for a Piece of Heart.
