Child Link's Journey: The Spiritual Stones

Your adventure begins as a young Kokiri boy. Focus on acquiring the three Spiritual Stones to open the Door of Time.

• Kokiri Forest & Deku Tree:
  • Acquire the Kokiri Sword from the training area (10 Rupees).
  • Obtain the Deku Shield from the Kokiri Shop (40 Rupees) or by cutting grass.
  • Enter the Deku Tree after Mido grants access.
  • Deku Tree Dungeon: Navigate the dungeon, defeat Gohma, and acquire the Kokiri's Emerald (Spiritual Stone of Forest).
• Hyrule Castle Town & Lon Lon Ranch:
  • Travel to Hyrule Castle Town. Speak with Malon at Lon Lon Ranch during the day to learn Epona's Song.
  • Sneak into Hyrule Castle to meet Princess Zelda. Acquire Zelda's Letter.
  • Visit Impa in Kakariko Village to learn the Zelda's Lullaby.
• Death Mountain Trail & Dodongo's Cavern:
  • Head to Kakariko Village and then up Death Mountain Trail.
  • Obtain the Goron's Bracelet from Darunia in Goron City after playing Zelda's Lullaby.
  • Enter Dodongo's Cavern.
  • Dodongo's Cavern Dungeon: Defeat King Dodongo, and acquire the Goron's Ruby (Spiritual Stone of Fire).
• Zora's Domain & Jabu-Jabu's Belly:
  • Travel to Zora's Domain via Zora's River.
  • Play Zelda's Lullaby at the Zora's Fountain to gain access to Jabu-Jabu.
  • Acquire a Fish from the Zora's Shop or by catching one in a bottle.
  • Feed the Fish to Lord Jabu-Jabu to enter his belly.
  • Jabu-Jabu's Belly Dungeon: Navigate the dungeon, defeat Barinade, and acquire the Zora's Sapphire (Spiritual Stone of Water).
• Temple of Time:
  • Return to the Temple of Time with all three Spiritual Stones.
  • Play the Song of Time on the Ocarina to open the Door of Time.
  • Retrieve the Master Sword from its pedestal.

Adult Link's Awakening: The Sages

Seven years have passed. You are now Adult Link, tasked with awakening the Seven Sages.

• Forest Temple:
  • Meet Sheik in the Temple of Time.
  • Travel to Kokiri Forest, which is now infested with monsters.
  • Learn the Minuet of Forest from Sheik.
  • Enter the Forest Temple.
  • Forest Temple Dungeon: Defeat Phantom Ganon, awaken Saria as the Sage of Forest, and acquire the Forest Medallion.
• Fire Temple:
  • Return to Goron City. Learn the Bolero of Fire from Sheik.
  • Enter Death Mountain Crater and then the Fire Temple.
  • Fire Temple Dungeon: Rescue the Gorons, defeat Volvagia, awaken Darunia as the Sage of Fire, and acquire the Fire Medallion.
• Water Temple:
  • Travel to Zora's Domain, now frozen. Acquire the Iron Boots from the Ice Cavern (located in Zora's Fountain).
  • Learn the Serenade of Water from Sheik at Lake Hylia.
  • Equip the Iron Boots and dive into the center of Lake Hylia to enter the Water Temple.
  • Water Temple Dungeon: Manipulate water levels, defeat Morpha, awaken Ruto as the Sage of Water, and acquire the Water Medallion.
• Shadow Temple:
  • Visit Kakariko Village. After the cutscene, learn the Nocturne of Shadow from Sheik.
  • Enter the Shadow Temple via the Graveyard. You will need the Lens of Truth (found in the Bottom of the Well as Child Link).
  • Shadow Temple Dungeon: Navigate the invisible pathways, defeat Bongo Bongo, awaken Impa as the Sage of Shadow, and acquire the Shadow Medallion.
• Spirit Temple:
  • Travel to the Desert Colossus. Learn the Requiem of Spirit from Sheik.
  • You will need to travel back in time as Child Link to complete the initial steps of the Spirit Temple.
  • Spirit Temple Dungeon (Child Link): Acquire the Silver Gauntlets.
  • Spirit Temple Dungeon (Adult Link): Return as Adult Link, use the Silver Gauntlets, defeat Twinrova, awaken Nabooru as the Sage of Spirit, and acquire the Spirit Medallion.

The Final Confrontation: Ganon's Castle

With all six Sages awakened, it's time to face the King of Evil.

• Ganon's Castle:
  • Return to the Temple of Time. The Sages will open the path to Ganon's Castle.
  • Navigate the various elemental barriers within the castle, each requiring a specific Medallion's power.
  • Defeat Ganondorf in the castle's tower.
  • Escape the collapsing castle.
  • Final Battle: Confront Ganon in his beast form. Use the Master Sword and the Light Arrows (provided by Zelda) to defeat him.
