Medusa is a gorgon-like boss that attacks with a petrifying gaze and by summoning snakes. To defeat Medusa, you must use the Mirror Shield. When Medusa opens her eyes and prepares to unleash her gaze, raise your Mirror Shield to reflect it back at her. This will stun her. While she is stunned, quickly attack her with your Wooden Sword (or Biggoron's Sword if you have it). She will also summon small snakes that can be easily defeated with your sword. Be careful not to get caught by her gaze without the shield, as it will temporarily petrify Link, leaving him vulnerable. This battle requires precise timing with the Mirror Shield. Reward: Heart Container and Pure Seed (Essence of Nature).
