Aquamentus is the first dungeon boss. It's a dragon-like creature that breathes fireballs. Its main attack involves shooting three fireballs in a spread pattern. It will also charge across the screen occasionally. The key to defeating Aquamentus is to attack its horn. When it's not breathing fire, approach it and repeatedly strike its horn with your Wooden Sword. Use the Wooden Shield to block its fireballs if you can't dodge them. The Roc's Feather (if you somehow acquired it early) can help you jump over the fireballs, but it's not necessary. Stay mobile, dodge the fire, and focus your attacks on the horn. Reward: Heart Container and Fertile Soil (Essence of Nature).
