Version 1.05 (Updated: June 1, 2007)
This significant update focused on clarifying several tricky sections and optimizing boss strategies. Key changes include:
- Dungeon 3: Poison Moth's Lair - Boss Strategy Refinement:
- Pincers: Added a more detailed strategy for the boss, Manhandla. Previously, the guide briefly mentioned hitting its mouths. This version now emphasizes using the Boomerang to stun its mouths before attacking with the Sword. Specifically, aim for the open mouths, stun them, then quickly switch to your sword to deal damage. Repeat this process for each mouth.
- Item Location Clarification: Pinpointed the exact room for obtaining the Magnetic Gloves within the dungeon, noting it's typically found after defeating the Mini-Boss, Syger.
- Subrosia Village - Trading Sequence:
- Gnarled Key Acquisition: Enhanced the steps for acquiring the Gnarled Key from the Subrosian Smithy. The guide now explicitly states that you must first obtain the Red Ore (found in the Western Woods, requiring the Roc's Feather to cross pits) and the Blue Ore (found in the subterranean cave beneath the Samasa Desert, accessible after obtaining the Power Bracelet). Bring both to the Smithy, and he will forge the key for you.
- General Navigation Improvements:
- Minor textual corrections and formatting adjustments for improved readability across various sections, particularly in the early game walkthrough for Horon Village and the Eastern Suburbs.
