Use: A magical hourglass that allows Link to withstand the poisonous gas in the Temple of the Ocean King for a limited time. The sand inside depletes as you spend time in the poisoned areas. Its duration can be extended by collecting Courage Gems.

Grappling Hook:

Location: Sanctuary.

Use: A versatile tool for traversal and interaction. Can be used to swing across gaps, pull distant objects (like levers or treasure chests), and even steal items from certain enemies. Tap on a grapple point to use it.

Shovel:

Location: Temple of Ice.

Use: Used to dig up buried treasures, uncover hidden passages, and find secret items on islands and in dungeons. Tap on suspicious-looking patches of ground to dig. Essential for many side quests and finding Spirit Gems.

Salvage Arm:

Location: Acquired as part of the main story after a certain point.

Use: Attached to the S.S. Linebeck, this arm is used to retrieve sunken treasure chests from the seabed. When you see a sparkling spot on the sea chart, sail over it and deploy the Salvage Arm to play a mini-game and retrieve the treasure.

Fishing Rod:

Location: Obtained from a character on a specific island (e.g., Mercay Island) after a small task.

Use: Used for the fishing mini-game. Catching fish can provide Rupees, and certain fish can be traded with NPCs for valuable rewards like Heart Containers or Spirit Gems.
