The final battle against Malladus is a multi-stage encounter. Phase 1 (Chancellor Cole): Cole will attack with magic. Use the Spirit Flute to play the Song of Light, which will stun him. While stunned, attack him with your sword. Repeat until he transforms. Phase 2 (Malladus Possessing Zelda): Malladus will possess Zelda's body. You need to use the Bow of Light (given by Anjean) to shoot him. Zelda's spirit will help by distracting him or creating openings. Coordinate with Zelda to expose Malladus's weak point on his back, then shoot it with a Light Arrow. Phase 3 (Malladus's True Form): Malladus will grow massive. You'll need to use the Spirit Train's cannon to damage him. Drive around him, avoiding his attacks, and shoot his glowing weak points. Eventually, you'll need to use the Bow of Light again, coordinating with Zelda to create an opening for a final shot. This fight requires precise timing and teamwork.
