Utilizing Sword Techniques

Don't just mash the attack button. Master the various Tiger Scroll techniques:

• Spin Attack: Hold B, then release. Excellent for clearing groups of weak enemies.
• Dash Attack: Use Pegasus Boots (R) then press B. Great for charging through lines of enemies or quickly closing distance.
• Peril Beam: When at 1 heart, swing your sword to shoot a beam. A powerful last resort.
• Down Thrust: Jump with Roc's Cape (R), then press B in mid-air. Effective against enemies with vulnerable tops.
• Great Spin Attack: The ultimate Spin Attack, with wider range and more damage.

Item Combinations

Experiment with combining items. For example, use the Gust Jar to pull an enemy close, then immediately follow up with a sword combo. Or use the Cane of Pacci to flip an armored enemy, then attack its vulnerable underside. The Bow can stun enemies from a distance, allowing you to close in for sword attacks. Creative item usage is often the key to overcoming tougher foes and mini-bosses.

Remember to use your shield! It can deflect many projectiles, including those from Octoroks and Wizzrobes, often turning their own attacks against them. Mastering these advanced techniques will make you a much more efficient and powerful fighter.
