Heart Containers: These are typically awarded after defeating a dungeon boss. Each Heart Container immediately adds one full heart to Link's health bar. There are a total of 6 Heart Containers to be found from the main dungeons.
Pieces of Heart: For every four Pieces of Heart Link collects, his maximum health increases by one full heart. There are 44 Pieces of Heart scattered throughout Hyrule, meaning you can gain an additional 11 hearts beyond those from dungeon bosses.

Strategies for Heart Piece Collection:

- Goron Cave (Lon Lon Ranch): Win the Goron game by fusing Kinstones with the Gorons.
