As Wolf Link, your primary objective in Faron Woods is to restore the light. This involves collecting Tears of Light from various Shadow Insects scattered throughout the area. Use your Wolf Senses (Z-target and press A) to locate these invisible enemies. Once you've collected all 16 Tears of Light, the Faron Province will return to normal, and you'll regain your Hylian form. This also grants you access to the Forest Temple.
