Poe Soul Locations (Detailed)

Collecting all 60 Poe Souls is a significant undertaking in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, rewarding you with the incredibly useful Magic Armor. Poes only appear at night, so adjust the time of day by using the Song of Sun (if you have it) or by entering and exiting a building. Remember, you'll need the Lantern to see them clearly and the Gale Boomerang or Hero's Bow to defeat them from a distance, or simply engage them in close combat as Wolf Link.

When you encounter a Poe, it will typically float around, sometimes becoming invisible. As Wolf Link, use your Sense ability to reveal its true form, then attack it. Once defeated, its spirit will separate from its body; quickly approach and absorb the Poe Soul before it dissipates. Here's a detailed breakdown of where to find each elusive spirit:

Faron Woods

Poe 1 (Forest Temple Entrance): After entering Faron Woods from Hyrule Field, head towards the Forest Temple. This Poe is located on the path leading up to the temple entrance, often near the first bridge.
Poe 2 (Sacred Grove Entrance): In the area just before the entrance to the Sacred Grove, near the large stone archway.
Poe 3 (North Faron Woods): Near the northern exit of Faron Woods, close to the path that leads to Hyrule Field.
Poe 4 (South Faron Woods): In the southern part of Faron Woods, often found near the water or the small wooden bridges.

Hyrule Field (Faron Province)

Poe 5 (Bridge of Hylia Entrance): On the Faron side of the Bridge of Hylia, near the entrance to the bridge itself.
Poe 6 (South Field): In the open field area south of Faron Woods, often found near the trees or rock formations.

Kakariko Village & Death Mountain

Poe 7 (Kakariko Graveyard): Inside the Kakariko Graveyard, often found wandering among the tombstones.

Poe 14 (Lake Hylia Shore): On the main shore of Lake Hylia, near the warp portal or the fishing hole.
Poe 15 (Lake Hylia Island): On one of the smaller islands in Lake Hylia. You may need to use the Iron Boots to sink and walk underwater, or the Clawshot to reach it.
Poe 16 (Fyer's Cannon): Near Fyer's cannon, which launches you to Lake Hylia.

Poe 17 (Desert Entrance): At the entrance to the Gerudo Desert, where you first arrive from Hyrule Field.
Poe 18 (Desert Camp): Near the ruined Gerudo Desert camp, often found among the tents or structures.
Poe 19 (Desert Plateau): On one of the higher plateaus in the Gerudo Desert. You might need to use the Spinner or Clawshot to reach it.

Snowpeak

Poe 21 (Snowpeak Trail - Lower): On the lower part of the winding path up Snowpeak.
Poe 22 (Snowpeak Trail - Upper): Higher up the Snowpeak trail, often near the ice structures or ledges.

Sacred Grove

Poe 23 (Sacred Grove Maze): Within the maze-like area of the Sacred Grove, where you encounter the Skull Kid.
Poe 24 (Master Sword Pedestal): Near the pedestal where the Master Sword rests, after you've obtained it.

Temple of Time

Poe 25 (Temple of Time Entrance): In the main entrance hall of the Temple of Time.
Poe 26 (Temple of Time Interior): Deeper within the Temple of Time, often in one of the larger rooms or corridors.

City in the Sky

Poe 27 (City in the Sky Entrance): At the initial entrance area of the City in the Sky, near the first fan.
Poe 28 (City in the Sky Central): In one of the central, open areas of the City in the Sky, often where you use the Double Clawshot.

Hidden Village

Poe 29 (Hidden Village Main Street): On the main street of the Hidden Village, after it has been cleared of enemies.

Castle Town

Poe 30 (Castle Town Alley): In one of the back alleys or less frequented areas of Castle Town.
