Installation & Setup
To begin your journey with The Sims 4: Royalty & Legacy, ensure that you have the base game of The Sims 4 installed on your platform. The Royalty & Legacy expansion is an add-on and requires the base game to function. The installation process will vary slightly depending on your platform. For PC and macOS users, if you purchased the game digitally through platforms like Origin or Steam, the expansion pack will typically download and install automatically once purchased and linked to your account. If you have a physical copy or are installing from a disc, you may need to enter a product code during the installation process. For console players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the process is similar to other digital game installations. Navigate to your platform's respective store, search for The Sims 4: Royalty & Legacy, and initiate the download and installation.
