Walkthrough: Unraveling the Mystery

1. Initiate the Quest:

   Begin by speaking with Commander Elric at the Banges Tech Industrial Park. You can find him reliably standing near the main entrance of the industrial park, specifically at coordinates -320.5, -200.8. He will express his concern about the overdue supply convoy and task you with finding out what happened. Pay close attention to his dialogue for initial clues regarding the convoy's last known route.

2. Follow the Trail of Clues:

   Elric will direct you towards the convoy's last reported location, usually a specific section of the road leading out of the industrial park towards the southern Banges coastline. Look for environmental cues:

   • Wreckage: Scattered debris, damaged vehicles, or overturned crates are tell-tale signs. Interact with these to gather initial quest items or update your objective. The first piece of wreckage is typically found around -380, -215.
   • Footprints/Tracks: Follow any discernible tracks leading away from the wreckage. These often glow faintly or are highlighted on your mini-map, guiding you further along the path.
3. Encountering the First Ambush:

   As you follow the trail, you will inevitably stumble upon the culprits responsible for the missing supplies. Prepare for a skirmish against a group of Hyenas. Specifically, you will face 3-4x Hyena Thugs (Level 18-20) and 1-2x Hyena Sharpshooters (Level 19-21). These are standard enemies, but their numbers might be slightly higher than what you've encountered in earlier tutorial quests. Focus on crowd control and using your weapon's elemental burst.

   Strategy Tip: If you have a weapon with a wide area-of-effect (AoE) attack, now is a good time to use it. Weapons like the Chakram of the Seas (Shiro) or Scythe of the Crow (King) can be very effective here for clearing out multiple enemies quickly.

4. The Environmental Puzzle:

   After defeating the initial group, the trail will lead you to a blocked path near a small, abandoned research outpost, typically around coordinates -450, -280. This is where the environmental puzzle comes into play. The path is blocked by a deactivated energy barrier. To proceed, you must:

   • Locate the Energy Cube: Search the immediate vicinity for a glowing blue Energy Cube. It's often hidden behind some crates or a small rock formation nearby, usually within 10-15 meters of the barrier.
   • Retrieve and Place the Cube: Interact with the Energy Cube to pick it up. Then, carry it to the designated Energy Socket located next to the energy barrier. The socket will be clearly marked with a glowing outline.
   • Activate the Mechanism: Once the Energy Cube is placed in the socket, the energy barrier will deactivate, allowing you to pass through.

   Hint: Always look for glowing objects, interactive prompts, or visual cues in the environment when you encounter a blockage. The solution is usually within the immediate vicinity.

5. Confronting Elite Enemies:

   Once you navigate the puzzle, you will find the main stash of stolen supplies within a small cave or fortified area, guarded by one or more Elite Enemies. For this quest, you will face a Hyena Thug Leader (Level 22) and 2x Hyena Brutes (Level 21). These are significantly tougher than regular foes:

   • Increased Health & Defense: Elites have substantially larger health pools and often higher damage resistance. The Hyena Thug Leader, in particular, has a noticeable health bar.
   • Unique Attack Patterns: The Hyena Thug Leader possesses a powerful ground slam attack that creates a small AoE. He also has a charge attack. These often have clear wind-up animations (e.g., a red indicator on the ground for the slam, or a brief crouch before charging), giving you a chance to dodge or shield. Learn to recognize these tells.
   • Break Gauge: Elites (and bosses) have a "Break Gauge" (a yellow bar below their health). Depleting this gauge will stun them, making them vulnerable to massive damage. Focus on weapons with high "Shatter" values to break this gauge quickly.

   Recommended Strategy:

   • Prioritize Targets: Consider taking out the two Hyena Brutes first, as they can be a nuisance with their constant attacks. Then focus on the Thug Leader.
   • Dodge & Weave: Prioritize dodging elite attacks. Perfect dodges trigger a "Phantasia" state, slowing down time and allowing for free hits and weapon charge-ups.
   • use Elements: Hyenas generally have no specific elemental weakness, so focus on your highest damage output.
   • Shatter Focus: Bring at least one weapon with a high Shatter rating (e.g., Huma's Molten Shield V2, King's Scythe of the Crow) to quickly break the Thug Leader's shield. Once broken, unleash your highest damage weapon.
   • Sustain: Keep an eye on your health and use healing items or abilities (e.g., from a support Simulacrum like Cocoritter or Nemesis) when necessary.
6. Recover the Supplies:
