Cookie List
Cookies are a unique and incredibly valuable consumable in Unicorn Overlord, offering permanent stat boosts to a chosen unit. Unlike other temporary buffs, these increases are forever, making them crucial for optimizing your favorite characters or shoring up weaknesses. This section details every known Cookie, their locations, and strategic considerations for their use.
General Cookie Strategy
- Prioritize Key Units: Focus on your main damage dealers, tanks, or support units that you consistently use. A small boost to a core unit can have a significant impact on your overall squad performance.
- Cover Weaknesses: If a unit has a particularly low stat (e.g., a Caster with low Physical Defense), a Cookie can help mitigate that vulnerability.
- Enhance Strengths: Conversely, using a Cookie to further boost a unit's already high stat can make them even more dominant in their role.
- Early Game vs. Late Game: While tempting to use them immediately, consider saving some for later in the game when you have a clearer picture of your final unit compositions and their roles. However, don't hoard them indefinitely; the sooner a unit benefits from a stat boost, the more value you get over time.
Cookie Locations and Details
1. Fevrithian Shortbread
Effect: +1 Physical Attack
- Location 1:
Oulx Harbor (Cornia) - Main Quest Reward. This is one of the earliest Cookies you'll acquire. After liberating Oulx Harbor during the main story quest "The Priestess, Abducted", speak to the grateful townsfolk. One of them will offer this as a token of appreciation.
- Location 2:
Baumratte (Drakenhold) - Side Quest Reward. Complete the side quest "A Miner's Request" in the Baumratte region. This quest involves clearing out a group of Golems from a mine. Upon successful completion, the mine foreman will reward you with another Fevrithian Shortbread.
- Strategic Use: Excellent for early-game physical attackers like Alain, Josef, or any Fighter/Warrior class. A small boost to Physical Attack can help them secure critical KOs.
2. Elheimian Honey Cake
Effect: +1 Magical Attack
- Location 1:
Walled City of Gran Corrine (Elheim) - Hidden Chest. Within the ruins of the Walled City of Gran Corrine, explore the eastern section near the collapsed library. There's a well-hidden chest tucked behind some rubble that contains this valuable treat. You may need a unit with the "Scout" ability to reveal its exact location.
- Location 2:
Stonehill Village (Elheim) - Deliver Quest. After restoring Stonehill Village, a local baker will offer a "Deliver Goods" quest. Successfully transport the delicate ingredients to the designated location without taking too much damage, and they will reward you with an Elheimian Honey Cake.
- Strategic Use: Ideal for your primary magical damage dealers such as Scarlett (after promotion), Witch units, or Shaman units. Boosting their Magical Attack directly increases their offensive output.
3. Bastoriasian Meat Pie
Effect: +1 Physical Defense
- Location 1:
Fort Solon (Bastorias) - Enemy Drop (Rare). This Cookie has a rare chance to drop from specific elite enemy units within Fort Solon, particularly the heavily armored Gryphon Knights or Werebears. Consider bringing units with high Luck or using items that boost drop rates if you're farming for this.
- Location 2:
Snow-Covered Hamlet (Bastorias) - Mercenary Task. In the Snow-Covered Hamlet, accept the "Clear the Blizzard Beasts" mercenary task from the local elder. Successfully defeat all the rampaging beasts within the time limit to receive this hearty pie.
- Strategic Use: Best used on your front-line tanks or units that frequently take physical damage. Giving a Hoplite or a Lord unit an extra point in Physical Defense can significantly increase their survivability.
4. Albionian Seafood Stew
Effect: +1 Magical Defense
- Location 1:
Port of Vesper (Albion) - Purchase from Secret Merchant. After completing the main quest "The Azure Tide", a secret merchant will appear at the Port of Vesper during nighttime. They sell one Albionian Seafood Stew for 5,000 Gold. This is a one-time purchase.
- Location 2:
Isle of the Lost (Albion) - Exploration Reward. Navigate the treacherous currents around the Isle of the Lost. On the westernmost point of the island, a small, secluded cave contains a treasure chest with this item. You'll need a flying unit or a unit with high movement to reach this spot effectively.
- Strategic Use: Excellent for units susceptible to magical attacks, such as Fighters, or even your own Casters to help them withstand enemy magic.
5. Royal Unicorn Cookie
Effect: +1 All Stats (Physical Attack, Magical Attack, Physical Defense, Magical Defense, Initiative, Evasion, Accuracy, Critical Rate)
- Location:
Cornia Castle (Cornia) - Post-Game Reward. This incredibly powerful Cookie is only obtainable after completing the main story and achieving the "True Ending." Return to Cornia Castle and speak with the Royal Steward in the throne room. They will present you with this ultimate reward for your efforts in liberating Fevrith.
- Strategic Use: Reserve this for your absolute most critical unit, likely Alain himself, or another character who benefits immensely from a boost across the board. The comprehensive stat increase makes any unit significantly more potent.
