The Magic Wand fires a single projectile at the nearest enemy. It's reliable single-target damage. To evolve it into Holy Wand, you need to reach level 8 with the Magic Wand and have the Empty Tome passive item at any level. Holy Wand fires projectiles much faster and pierces enemies.
