Legacy of the Moonspell - Relic Locations & Effects

The Legacy of the Moonspell DLC introduces several new relics to Mt. Inferno, each offering unique benefits that can significantly alter your gameplay. Discovering and using these relics is key to mastering the new stage and unlocking its full potential.

The first notable relic is the Grim Grimoire. This relic is typically found in the early to mid-game areas of Mt. Inferno. Its primary effect is to reveal the location of all passive items and weapons on your map, making it much easier to plan your route and collect essential upgrades. This is invaluable for ensuring you don't miss out on crucial passive items needed for weapon evolutions.

Another important relic is the Sorceress' Tears. This relic is often located in a more challenging section of the stage, usually past the 15-minute mark. Upon collecting it, the Sorceress' Tears will increase the duration of all your active weapon effects. This means your projectiles will last longer, your area-of-effect attacks will persist for a greater period, and your defensive abilities will be more potent, leading to a significant boost in overall damage output and survivability.

The Chaos Malachite is a relic that can dramatically change how you approach enemy encounters. Found in the later stages of Mt. Inferno, this relic grants your weapons a chance to fire additional projectiles. This passive bonus can stack with other projectile-increasing effects, leading to incredibly dense barrages of attacks that can decimate even the toughest of enemies. It's particularly effective with weapons that already fire multiple projectiles or have a wide area of effect.

Finally, the Mirror of Fire is a relic that provides a defensive and offensive utility. Located in a particularly perilous area, this relic causes a portion of the damage you receive to be reflected back at your attackers. This not only helps to mitigate incoming damage but also contributes to your offensive pressure, allowing you to wear down enemies even when you're under heavy assault. Combining these relics strategically will empower you to conquer the challenges of Mt. Inferno.
