Understanding Weapon Evolution

Weapon evolution in Vampire Survivors is a core mechanic that significantly boosts a weapon's power, often changing its attack pattern or adding new effects. To evolve a weapon, you need two key components:

• Max Level Weapon: The weapon you wish to evolve must reach its maximum level (typically Level 8).
• Matching Passive Item: You must possess a specific passive item that synergizes with that weapon, and this passive item must also be at its maximum level.

Once both conditions are met, the next treasure chest you open (after minute 10) has a chance to contain the evolved weapon, replacing one of your existing weapon slots. Note that not all weapons have evolutions, and some evolutions require unique passive items.
