Discover hidden lore and unique collectibles by scanning Fragments throughout the Origin System. These Fragments, ranging from Cephalon to Thousand-Year Fish, unlock artwork and audio transmissions, enriching your understanding of Warframe's universe. Use your Codex or Synthesis Scanner to uncover these secrets and decorate your Orbiter with unlocked images.

Fragments are hidden items found across the Origin System that flesh out the setting of Warframe through written and audiovisual lore. Most Fragments can be scanned using either a Codex Scanner or a Synthesis Scanner. Scanning a Fragment unlocks artwork in the Universe tab of your Codex, which can then be used as decoration aboard your Orbiter.

Additionally, each unlocked image contains a hidden point that, when hovered over with the cursor, reveals a short audio transmission. An audio clue, in the form of white noise that grows louder as your cursor approaches, helps identify this hidden point. Other types of Fragments only require interaction (default X) to acquire them.

  • Cephalon Fragments: These are ordered by their release date.
  • Somachord Fragments: Unlock musical pieces.
  • Frame Fighter Fragments: Related to the Frame Fighter mini-game.
  • Prex Cards: Another type of collectible fragment.
